DR DDTs (Drop Down Tuning) are amazing.

I just wanted to start this thread for anyone that plays metal or any other genre with dropped tunings. My band plays in drop B (Ab-B-Gb-B-E) and I searched forever to try and find a decent string set that wouldn't be too floppy or too thick. The DDTs sound and play amazing! They feel very similar to playing on a standard tuned bass and light years better then anything else drop tuned. I even have a set on my fretless! I have that tuned to drop B also and it plays/sounds amazing. I am of course open to suggestions to try something new. Also if any has used different sizes and thoughts on that. I have only used Med.

Also if anyone wants to hear my band Corelia | Facebook
It's progressive metal
