DR Hi Beam - tunning down one step

Sign in to disble this ad
Aren't DR Hi Beam (45 65 85 105 125) too thing for tunning down one step ? Especially the B string.
I have a Warwick Streamer LX . I think the scale is 34"
If these aren't suitable for down tunning, what do you recommend ?

Perhaps at that gauge it's OK.
They are a pretty low tension string, and flexible.
You might want to do this with Low Riders or Longnecks.
Any of the DR coated strings are probably the best string to do this with, though!
