DR ID S.O.L.

I've got a set of DR something or others on my MPG Level 5 and R really like them. I took these off of another bass I bought used and I only know that they were DR's. There is no silk on these. Is this the way with all the DR strings? I want to get a fresh set but can't ID these.
Not overly bright, on the heavy side like w/ .130 B string. No tapercore. Am I S.O.L.?

Well, if you can find out if they're stainless steel(Almost a dark gray) or nickel and then round core vs hex core we can narrow it down to a few different choices.

Not overly bright, you probably want a Nickel Plated string...

Sunbeams have a Round Core
Nickel Lo-Riders will be a hex core

There are a good selection of gauges for both string types to fit your needs.

Which is stiffer, the hex or round core? These are definitely stiffer than Black Beauties.

Hex is stiffer, so probably Lo-Riders.

There are not too many DR's that have silk on them.... "legend" flats are the first that come to mind (yellowish, or gold),
I think long necks back in the day had a rainbowish set of colors on the ends......IIRC
