Just tried these strings for the first time today.. I don't know what took me so long to try a set.. These strings are incredible.. I put a set on my Fender Jaguar and on my Jazz Bass also.. I got the 50-110's and am tuned down half a step.. Seriously everything i've been looking for in a string..

I love the the growl on Lo Rider (I was using Nickel), but Fat Beams is just...SWEET. Huge bottom and crispy High. When I put a set on my bass, it was like the bass was singing a love song to me..... |

65, 85, 102, 125 | I was going to try the Hi-Beams next,, but i really like the stiffness of the Lo-Riders.. I'm worried the DDT's would be too heavy.. Even the 55-115's..

It's probably almost time for some new ones, as mine have been on my Ric over 2 years. They still sound good, though...and that's from someone who likes clank.

| | | I'm using Lorider since 6 years now, I think those are the better versatile DR strings, they can cover so different tone for a bass sound.

| | | | I've used LoRiders and I'm going back to them. It's fun to try out different strings, but the LoRiders have a great combination of clarity and growl. Also, the higher tension allows for a nice, low action. |

The anticipation is killing me.
