MAN, WENT TO GC TODAY AND GOT A 5 STRING SET OF FAT BEAMS. THEY HAVE WENT UP FROM $36 TO $39 AT LOCAL STORE. TO SOME IT MAY NOT BE A BIG DEAL, BUT I WAS LIKE DAMN! THE SALES CLERK SAID THEY'VE ALWAYS BEEN THAT PRICE. "YEAH, RIGHT!" IF THEY WERN'T SUCH GOOD STRINGS I WOULDN'T HAVE BOUGHT THEM.

juststrings.com, try them out, I've had great luck with them. Good price, quick delivery.

I usually get my best deal at www.juststrings.com for some DR Nickel Lowriders for my 6 string. CG only carries the taper wound ones that won't intonate on my Q6 and the Daddario's they sell change wrap diameter before they reach the nut on my Q6. Both times they said I couldn't return them. I contacted DR and Daddario and they sent me out the proper sets when it happened.

I think GC is trying to pull a fast one on uninformed customers. I went in there to buy a set of Lo Riders and they had them listed at $32 or something like that and I said that their own website had them for $22.50 so they went to the computer and looked it up, played dumb about it and matched the price. They're squeezing some extra coin out of ignorant shoppers! Buyer beware. Know that the item is worth before you go there, they'll match the price.

Typing in CAPS indicates shouting BTW.

I went into GC about 2 weeks ago and saw that all the DR prices were insane. I went home, went to Juststrings.com and placed an order.

GC = BAD.
