Dr. Neon Bass Strings

So for any of you that have used Dr. Neon strings on your acoustic electric bass or attempted it anyway......
how has it worked out....is it possible and is there a neon string for the acoustic bass out there?

They'd probably work about as well as any other round wound strings, which really aren't ideal for acoustics.

Used them for awhile, very nice hifi type tone to them imo. Then too many sets with dead strings so stopped useing them. Decided dr's qc issues arent worth the hassle to me. I dont think they make a acoustic bass set.
