Dr String scale sizes?

So I have a peavey grind 5 string bass that apparently requires extra long scale strings. I've heard that DR strings should fit anyway even though they're not specified to fit extra long scale basses. Does anyone know if they'll actually fit my bass?

Yes, they will fit.

DR strings will fit just about anything.

Normal High Beams will not. Marcus Miller's will and so will DDT's. Long necks will if you like tapering at the bridge, and you can also get xtra-long scale High Beams. I've used all of these and found the DDT's were my favorite on the Cirrus I play.

Odd since ALL our strings except our Short Scale (32") and Extra Longs(LMR-45 40") should be wound to the same length. 37 3/4".

By the way, I put my first set of DR strings on my 5 string a couple of weeks back. Nickel Lo-Riders - I love em. I'll be buying more in the future. Thanks.

I stand corrected. Just checked my DDT B against a High Beam B and they are identical. Sorry!
