DR strings RAVE

[Big String]

I've got a set of DR SS LoRiders on my Sadowsky NYC JJ4.
I've tried quite a few brands including the Sadowsky brands.
They were very good but the SS LR's are just right for this particular bass.

Ash body
Braz RW board
Nordy Single coils NJ4

Really sounds great in the mix with these strings. I also love the fact there is no silk and wrap so nicely. Great even tone. Even smoothed out the one sorta kinda dead stop.

I just ditched my rotosound 77 jazz flats for a set of nickel lo-riders and wow! My bass is alive again!!

Not sure if I just had a dead set of rotos out of the box but they would just not keep in tune at all and they were dull as. The lo-riders have a nice growl to em and very even as Big String mentioned.

Not that I'm giving up on flats - I would like to try labella deep talkin in the future but these DRs are sweet and after reading all the positive reveiws about them on here I decided to try them.
