Drastic String Change

Just wanted to share my experience with my new set of Rotosound 66ers with you guys. I am so in love with my tone right now its not even funny. These things slap like its no tomorrow and sound great with fingerstyle too on my GL Jazz. I had a set of Chromes on the bass prior to these so it was quite a drastic change in tone but I am really happy with them so far.

Put them on yesterday before a gig and the guitarist was like, 'your bass sounds different, really trebly...but I like it'.

I use the same strings on my Geddy...what gauges are you using? I think I might experiment a bit with some heavier strings to see if it gives me a slight bass boost.

45 to 105 I'm pretty sure. I didn't think that they made them in heavier gauges though.
