DRs and hollow sounding strings...

I've been using LoRiders for a while now, and I'm starting to cringe when I hit the B string. It's just so hollow sounding compared to the rest of the strings. They feel pretty good, and the EADG strings sound great up till the 12th fret. But the B string is only good up to the D, maybe the E. Above the 12th fret, everything gets kind of multi-tonal.

Anyone else getting this same tone?

Are there any reccomends to some good alternatives I need to try? I've really been thinking of getting some flats for a more lumpy sound, but I'm hesitant to drop $40 on something that might be worse.

I really enjoy the nickel, but I may have to try some SS strings again, and just back off the highs in EQ.

Before you do anything drastic, try GHS Boomers (45, 65, 85, 105, 130). They're nickel, and they sound great (particularly the B). Good luck!
