I just put lo rider nickels on my 4-94 and they have a nice warm sound. A little tamer than the hi beams, although I never have used the Sunbeams

The Sunbeams are going to be brighter and more pliable than the low riders.

Good strings.

I prefer Sunbeams. YMMV.

I've owned 4 Laklands, and had Sunbeams on every single one of them. My favorite strings of all time.

Oddly enough, I currently have the R. Cocco version (RC5CN) of these on my Joe Osborn 5 right now , and I am really enjoying them (even if they are too short to string through the body).

Sunbreams are awesome though.. They have the brightness of stainless, the warmth of nickel, and they are quite possibly the easiest playing strings out there, since they are round core (instead of hex core like Lo-Riders, etc). Plus, they are absolutely KILLER on a fretless!
