Dunlop strings with red silk windings

Hi everyone I'm trying to figure out the strings I used on my p that sounded so great I believe they had red silk windings. Could they have been my old dunlops. ??? I know they weren't the GHS boomers. Thanks for the help

The dunlop strings I just put on one of my basses didn't have any silk. The only strings I know of that use red silk are GHS Boomers.

Bright red silks are found on Labella Deep Talkin' Flats.

They are not Dunlop or SIT, they have never had silk wraps.

They are probably GHS Boomers or Rotosound Steels. Ken Smith Burners also have red silk windings, but blue at the ball end.
