Dunlop VS. DR

I've got a set of Dunlop SS light strings (brand new 40-120), and I am probably going to pick up a set of Medium DR Nickel Plated Lo Riders (always wanted to try out nickel plated strings). I have a SR5 and a MIA Fender Jazz V(passive). Which bass should get the Dunlops and which bass should get the DR's. Any input on this insignificant dilemma? Thanks!

I was given a couple of sets at BP live last year... I tried them, they were OK... but they didn't last long. I'm sticking with my DRs.

I've used dunlop bass strings for my basses and they sound awesome. I use their nickel-plated strings for my basses and they sound awesome. sometimes I use their stainless steel strings. they sound pretty cool too. I personally would recommend dunlop strings(although you have to order them online). DR strings makes pretty good bass strings too, but dunlop strings are more affordable and they have pretty good sounds.

I'd put the stainless strings on the SR5 to capitalize it's brighter zingier tone, and the nickles on the Passive jazz, but you could go the other way, too, if you want to tame the SR5 and bring out as much brightness as possible with the jazz. Big help, I know.

Stainless Dunlops sound pretty mellow compared to most, so you may find they sound remarkably similar.

Thanks for the input. I like to play pretty aggressive, would I be better off sticking with medium strings? This is my first time trying light and I'm not sure what to expect.
