E string broke at practice tonight....

On my Musicman Sterling. Can anybody recommend some good strings for it? The only ones I have ever bought were just based on the fact that they came in purple! Haha

Were those Thomastik Infeld Powerbass strings? Because those are great strings to begin with. I'm partial to the Thomastik Infeld Superalloys though. They feel better and have a brighter attack to me.

Most people are going to swear by a certain brand. Mine just happens to be TI, but D'addario, Rotosound, DR, Ernie Ball, etc. make really good strings, too. It's a very personal thing.

D'addario, and ernie ball are the only strings we can buy in the local shops (stores) but i always find Ernie balls die really quickly and i snap them constantly twice live in the past month actually so i go with D'ad's

I saw the purple strings on eBay, I dont remember the brand. I was recommended DR's by my brother.
