Eastwood Club bass - flats or rounds?

Sign in to disble this ad
I assume it will be like a Beatle Bass and require a 32" medium scale string die to the trapeze tailpiece. I want something light gauge, low tension and funky sounding (not brite sounding) - any suggestions? What brands have medium scale strings?

The Youtube video with Ed Friedland playing one has TI Jazz Flats (the JF324 set), and they sound great.

Fit your criteria perfectly too.

The Ed Friedland video I found is the Classic 4 bass- can you post a link to the video with the Club bass?

I'm sorry, I saw your thread and read "Classic" instead of "Club".

Maybe I should go to bed.

Flats for sure!

You should try this:

Wait for some few weeks till they break in…

Don't even think in rounds.

On Eastwood website you'll have some videos with this bass.
