Elites Groundwound or D'Addario Half Round

I’m thinking of trying something a bit brighter on my fret;ess Jazz. Are Elites Groundwound and D'Addario Half Round strings similar in design? I’ve seen some posts about the D'Addario Half Round but not much on Elites.

Haven't used those strings, but try GHS Pressurewounds. Best "in-between" string I've used.

I think GHS make Elites so that interesting to know, thanks. How kind are the GHS to a fretless board? I tried Rotosound preasurewound strings and found them too abrasive, almost like rounds.

I haven't used them on my fretless, but if you look at them up close, they look like they wouldn't wear the fretboard nearly as much as rounds. The point of contact between the string and fretboard would be almost flat. The GHS Pressurewounds feel very smooth to the touch, but not nearly as smooth as flats. GHS also makes a halfwound too, although I haven't tried them.
