elixer nanoweb vs. D'addario flat wounds

Sign in to disble this ad
I got a ibanez sr 400 with some fender super bass strings
I just recently bought a Ampeg svt 350h head
and a ampeg svt 410hlf.
I wanna get a new pair of strings to go along with the halfstack
I have tried the D'addario flatwounds and I like em but I think they are a bit too warm
I have yet to try the Elixer nanoweb soft but I hear they are heaps better
which do you recommend?

They are too different to say one is 'better' than the other.

One is a zingy roundwound and the other a fairly traditional flatwound with a bit of a bright character. Both are quality string sets.
