Elixir strings on a Streamer Stage II 5 string

Hey all,
About 6 months back I broke a string on my Army issue Streamer and after months of constant nagging my BQ came through with my strings of choice. I'm not sure what strings were on originaly, they were just the ones on her when I joined.

When I went to string her up I discovered that the Elixir E (105 guage) and the B (130 guage) were too thick at the base of the string to fit in the bridge. Has anyone else encountered this problem before? Any easy solutions out there somewhere?

The Warwick Saddles require Taper core B strings.
I use the DR Tapered 5 set
