Ever heard of daVinci strings?

I needed strings for my five and I happened to be in Russia. I went into a the only music shop I could find and I had a choice of either DaVinci strings on no strings. They had about 12 sets of strings. 1 set for a four bass and one for a five and about 10 for guitars. So i got the DaVinci strings. Are they any good? I have never heard of them and might never again. They are vacuum sealed which is new to me too. At least the packaging is written in english.

Never heard of DaVinci but I have heard of Vinci. Could that be what you're talking about? The website says they come in a sealed pouch.

It's one of the older minor brands and it's been owned by the US Music (Washburn) company for years. I don't recall ever trying them but they're always at the low end of the price scale.
