Thumbs up Exellent customer service at JustStrings.com

I ordered a set of DR Sunbeams from JustStrings.com for my fretless six and they accidentally sent me a set of Nickel Lo-Riders instead. Since I'm new to DR and both sets are similar nickel strings, save that Lo-Riders are hex-core and Sunbeams are round-core, I decided to give em a try.

For the heck of it, I emailed JustStrings to let them know about the error; they apologized for the mistake and sent me a set of Sunbeams free of charge and no questions asked! That's what I call great customer service. As I'm sure many of you already know, they have a huge selection of strings, competitive pricing, and super quick delivery, but this exceeded my expectations.

They have always been excellent for me and I've not purchased a string set in store since discovering them about 5 years ago.

Great selection, great service, cheap and fast shipping and good overall prices.

It's a shame that they don't offer standard air mail as an option for shipping international orders. Express mail means spending extra $$$ on customs to me.

Why would you want to return something you specifically ordered?

I guess it depends where you live...Standard mail (USPS) is available for Canada at $6 IIRC, no matter what the order is.

All sets of short scale strings don't fit all short scale basses.

They wouldn't swap for a medium scale set, wouldn't take a return, but did direct me to LaBella who got it straightened out.

Juststrings.com is a GREAT site. I just discovered them and ordered some LaBella Hofner Flats (the only place that had em in stock) for my girlfriend's new bass, and they shipped the same day. I was so impressed I ordered a set of SIT Power Flats I've been wondering about (great price) and they shipped the same day too! It only took one day in the mail to get here and they sent me a bunch of .. well g*itar picks, but it was a nice gesture. I recommend these guys 100%, they totally have their act together.
