F Bass Strings

They are LaBella Super Steps. They are very good srings.

Idon't think so

super steps from labella are not taper-core but taperwound

perhaps still from labella yet

since they are stainless aren't they too bright ?

No, Super Steps are taper core. The only difference is the George's custom set has slightly different gauge G if I remember correctly.

I like them, not everyone else does.

The E, D, and G strings have gauges you can't find in regular sets. I've never used George's custom sets, but I'm using regular Super Steps now. I like them.
