Factory Danelectro re-issue strings?
 

What do the new Danelectro re-issues come strung with?

I know that the originals back when had the .45-.79 LaBella flats. They still make that set, but I wonder if the new ones still come with those? If not, what type are the new re-issue strings and what guages?....if anybody knows.

When I bought my Dead-On Longhorn in 2010, it had what are commonly known as 'shop strings," cheap junky strings that are better than nothing but not very good. I immediately replaced them with D'addario XL's and the bass came to life.
