Factory-Installed Strings on Japanese Geddy Lee Jazz Bass
Does anyone know which brand/model they used?

Curious to know this as well... From what I have read here at TB, many recommend using Roto 66's on Geddy Lee basses, might be worth giving them a try if you can't find OE strings.
FWIW, I've never used Roto 66's, just see many people say these are a good match for this particular bass model.

Owned 2 Geddys and they were Fender Roundwound in a lighter guage. Not sure of the exact model.
I liked Rotosound 66 in nickels on the GL. I also tried Elixers and they had a nice beefed up low end, IMO.
But again my 2 Geddy Lee sigs came strung with Fender strings.
