Hey I started using Fast Fret on my fretboard and strings and i love it! Can it damage the fretboard if it is used too often?

I love the Fast Fret stuff. Just watch it if you use coated strings.

It's great. After playing my bass for a couple practices, just putting it on and wiping it off gives the strings a noticably better feel and brighter tone.

Thumbs up

No, but your strings might get sticky...

i used to use it all the time, think i was like addicted to it or something. my bass felt really weird without it. haven't used it in years for no reason in particular. probably just too cheap to go buy it.

I like it because it kinda smells like Dr. Pepper. That and the fact that it makes my strings and fingerboard feel really good too.

I've been intigued by this stuff for a while, but never bothered to try it. Does it make the strings slicker like Finger Ease? Or, does it do something different?

I just switched from D'Addario XLs to DR Lo Riders. I love the tone, but sometimes my right hand gets slightly "stuck" when trying to pluck a note. I was thinking Fast Fret might help this.

Curious....

I hate the stuff, i feel like i lose control over what i'm playing because my fingers slip all over the place and it also makes my hands feel greasy. going fast isn't an issue for me anyway.
