Fat bottom, with punch

Sign in to disble this ad
Which Dr strings have good fat bottom with good punch? I play alot of funk, and smooth jazz, and I want that combo of bottom with good punch. I slap a lot also so good highs would be nice. I keep reading about Drs, so I'm ready to try them, but I don't know what one would serve my needs best, I think the BBs would look really cool on my black bongo.

Sunbeams are the most versatile.

And, of course, the best.

I have been an Elixir fan for a long time, but tried a set of Sunbeams on my Jazz, and they are fantastic. Really amazing, rich tone.

I did not like the Fat Beams, tho.
