What strings would you say gave you the lowest tone/biggest bottom end. I'm looking for a growl/roar that is extremely deep, any recommendations?

I have GHS Boomers on right now, they gotta whole lotta low end IMHO, beware this is only my opinion and you will probably get conflicting opinions

Good luck in your search, I am in the same boat

Knucklehead "Chunky" Doublewides. They have a .120 E, maybe a bit less, but they will basically make people crap their pants with how punchy they are. DR makes some nice coated ones, too.

Knucklehead seems to be a very obscure/small brand.

But their strings are fantastic!!! Chunkys sound great on my Geddy and Fattys sound great on my '73.

I'd love to take a look into them, but I can't find a single retailer.

I wasn't insisting they were poor quality due to the small manufacturer, I'm just saying it's hard to find them.
