I like Ken Smith strings myself. I use the Custom Tapor Core's and they feel balanced and have a nice bright sound. I mainly like the feel of them though. They have a nice light feel to them.

Fodera Diamonds. I also like Pedullas. I've never really dug Ken Smiths, and I've had three sets of Lakland strings (two sets of taperwounds and a Joe Osborn flatwound set) with dreadful low B strings.

I really dug the Fodera Victor Wooten strings, they were great when I tried them. I might actually get a set real soon, cause I just broke a string, and need a new set anyway.
