Favourite strings!?

ok guys, yet another post for my upcoming project. it looks like i will be making a 5string fretted and 4 string fretless. im looking for a metally grunge sound, somewhere into distortion, (like commerford) including 3fingered funk and punch (like flea)

My Questions is...name your favourite flats and rounds for my fretted/fretless. what they feel like, chrome...so on.
I think this will help me find the ones im looking for using other peoples expereice, but will also help people who are looking for the same thing

Fodera Diamonds stainless. Not just the name. These strings are amazing. They sound unreal and have nice tension too. And they take forever to sound old. I've had the same set on my 5L since December and they still sound fresh.
