Feasable for testing?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

I finally decided to ditch the low B on my fretless SX 34" scale 5 string. I tuned it tenor tonight and I'm digging it more than I ever liked the low B - however, I have...quite a few oddities.

E - .105 SS Lo-Rider
A - .85 SS Lo-Rider
D - .65 SS Lo-Rider
G - .45 SS D'Addario Flatwound
C - .26 Nickelwound D'Addario XL Guitar String

Is this a feasable tenor "testing" setup? I'm going to buy a new set of SS Lo-Riders within the next week or two (6-string set and just ditch the B), however would the setup I have now be okay for testing and getting used to the setup? (I've had a B on it since I got it in November)
