They seem to be, if they are that would be a bummer . I may have to buy a few more sets because they're really nice. |

They, along with all the other Fender strings, have ben outsourced to another manufacturer. There have been differences in the new versions, but yes, 7150s are still available in their same gauges. |

I tried the new Fender tapewounds, the 9120. They felt much like the Fender made tapes, but I felt that they were a little smoother now.
I'm curious what D'Addario-made Fender filament and pure nickels will be like. |

I see no images on the internet of the new, green and black packaging for the 7120s. Maybe they have been discontinued? |

The Nylon Filiments have been discontinued. They may still be found if you check around. |

| | | | I asked the folks at juststrings a few months ago about these and they are indeed discontinued. You can find several outlets online that indicate that they are out of stock, but a few indicate that more are expected. I've no idea if that's really the case or not.

I went to the fender website and looked at the list of strings and didn't see them on the list anymore. They have changed up the packaging for all the strings to it seems. This really is a bummer... i've been using these on my accoustic and my fretless bass for years. I spoke with a CSR at juststrings as well and he said Fender is finished winding the filament strings so.... yea... seems like they are definately a thing of the past. I'm going to try the tapewounds but i'm not feeling to optimistic about them..... probably won't match the tension or tone at all.

Looks like I was wrong; checking on the web, it looks like the nylon filament Fenders are not coming along. |

| | | | 7120's I just read this review and found one set on Ebay, thanks for the heads up! I love these strings, particularly for country and latin music. Went in to panic mode when I thought I may not be able to find them any more. Obviously there are still a few sets out there, might become a real commodity in the future! |

I went to Elderly's and I emailed them about the older versions (my favorite) and they had 2 left in stock, which I bought immediately.
Try to contact some stores for them... you never know! |
