I haven't tried Fender string in a long time, but I like the new strings no silk and color ball ends.

These are the first light strings I have used that aren't floppy and buzzing (B string) 40, 60, 80, 100, 115. Squire Deluxe Active Jazz V

I tried them, but the amount of fingernoise and the sound & tone simply didn't appeal to me. They just weren't the old ones. I am glad they met your needs and you like them.
