I am interested in trying the 8250M Nickel bass strings but can't decide whether to go with the .045 - 105tw's or the .045 - 110tw.
Do you perfer the E- string guage to be .105 or .110 and why. I want to try them on my 2005 Am Jazz with the NJ4SE's and the Audere Preamp.

I use .45's to .110's on my Jazz, for some reason (probably the lower tension) the .110 doesn't feel too heavy and gives a really ballsy low end. I found these strings to be the best slap strings I've ever used, the other night I was even able to get a quasi-Mark King slap tone using a Jazz through an Eden Nemesis combo. Maybe if you're a pick player the .105 would suit you more, but I'd try the .110 first.
