Fender 9050M .055 vs. Rotosound SH77

Anyone w/ first hand experience w/ both sets?

I've used the Fender 9050M for ages and im considering changing to the Rotos...Just cause Steve Harris is a cool guy, but then again; restringin all my basses aint free.

should i do the switch?

The rotos are very unique flats. They are very bright at first, but settle fairly quick. The broken in tone is nice and thumpy, though I'd say they are less "dry" than other flats I have used.

They are very high tension and are very stiff. I'd go for the standard gauge (105 E vs. 110 E ) rather than trying the Harris set. They are wonderfully made, unique strings. I'd say give 'em a try.
