I have experience with those strings. To my opinion the tension is too high. They feel like steel wires, used in fences. The D and G strings rally hurt after a while. The neck certainly needs re-adjustment. Finally I replaced them by d'Addario flatwounds. Both, the ECB81 (45 - 100) and ECB82 (50 - 105) set offer more playability, quite a high output and a sound with a well defined fundament.
