Fender Bass VI strings (alternatives?)

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,
I've had my Gretsch G5265 6-string bass for a couple of weeks now & I love it. The Gretsch came from the factory strung up with a set of Fender Bass VI strings (gauges 25-95). I like the gauges & want to stay in the same gauges. I especially like the 95 gauge E String. I've found other string sets for this type of instrument, but the lower strings are pretty light (i.e. 84 for Low E).

Does anyone other companies make string sets comparable to the Fender Bass VI set (25-95 range)?

I have a set of these, but they aren't long enough. Due to the Bigsby on the Gretsch, a longer string is needed. Plus, they are 20-90 gauge.
