Fender/Squier Jazz V Users: Favorite Roundwound B-String?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all! I play a Squier Affinity Jazz V currently strung with Fender 7350-5M Stainless Steel rounds (.045-.125). They're pretty great strings, but I kind of want to try some new stuff. I've got a set of Chromes for this bass, but I want to stick with rounds. I really want something with as little flop as possible (don't we all?). What do you use? Thanks for the help!!

Strings

Hey,, How are things going? I don't have a 5 string but I did change my stock strings on my Squire Modified Jazz to Chromes(Flatwound).I prefer Flatwound to round wound,I find that it feels better and sounds more mellow.

D'Addario XL 165-5's 45-65-85-105-135. Very taught B string, no flop at all.
The set in a whole is a very good set of strings.
