Wow, these TI jazz bass flatwounds are awesome. I was little scared that i wouldnt like them after spending 60 bux after shipping for them but Wow! Love the tone. Not as floppy as some make it out be unplayable.

I've played fender flats, rotosound, dean markley, d'addario chromes and these are #1 with the chromes being #2. and i havent even played these ti's longer than a few hours. i expect they will just get getting better and better with more nasty finger skin rubbed into them.

I love the clarity of the low notes, and the punch and depth from the higher notes. really nice strings. Deserving of the praise around here.

Welcome to the club !! A lot of people are discovering TI's lately. You say you have only played them for a few hours.....
In about two weeks time, with continuous playing they'll be even better They also last (still sounding great ) for years. I've read here of people having them on for 10 - 15 years. They get better with age ...... like good wine

hah yes.. I was quite happy with my D'addario Chromes, and I had them On for 2 1/2 years switching to rounds and back whenever i needed to, they started to wear from the swaps and i wanted to try something new! . I'll probably never change this set on my jazz ever, i'll probably get another Jazz or P bass and string it up differently for different tone.

Amen brother, Amen.

Anywho, I really love them myself. They do something really special for every bass I've tried them on. Seems to put such a great emphasis on balance of tone, attack, and just a round FAT bottom end. They can get pretty growly with some high treble sound. Mids sound amazing on them too! I've tried other strings, but keep coming back to them.

I've had mine for almost 2 years I think. They just keep sounding better

Thomastik-Infeld really knows what they're doing. They have been making strings for nearly 90 years after all
