Well after about a month of wanting to try out Flatwounds on my Stingray I finally got the chance. I was hoping to score some TI or D'Addario flats but they didnt have any at my local Sam Ash
. All turned out well though because I got me a set of Rotosound Steve Harris Signature strings. Keep in mind these are the first flats I've tried but I think they're great. I really liked that they came in heavy gauges (50-110) They took a little bit to get used to the feel but they sound sweet, not as mellow as I thought but they definatly brought new life into my ray. I'm happy with them and I'd recommend them to any other Iron Maiden fans
