I know that flats tends to be the way to go on P's when you want that big thump, but for some reason I just prefer a dead set of rounds over the flats when they are worn in. I literally just woke up this morning and my p-bass has been "getting there" on the rounds dying but when I came back from running some errands today, I played my P and the E and A are like thump central when I use my regular P-bass settings on the VT bass deluxe.

Anyhow, this is my first P and the first set of rounds that I killed on them so I'm so excited that I had to tell you guys...gonna do some more breaking-in to this!! YouTube - ‪(Jumpin') Gene Simmons - Haunted House‬‏

Anybody else diggin dead rounds on a P besides me?
