I just put on some GHS pressure wound strings and the e string plays flat when fretted .[out of tune]. [in tune when open] Even with the 12th fret intonated. It just gets worse the closer you get to the nut. Is flat strings a common problem? I have only played bass about 1 1/2 years now and this problem is new to me .
