Tried deep talkin bass...really cant used to the feel, so its back to swing bass. Like the sound of rounds better too.

There are a lot of "feels" avaialble in flats, so don't deprive yourself of giving flats a real go because of one brand.

What didn't you like with the LaBellas? there are softer and stiffer....there are smoother and more "roundlike".

When you say swing bass, you mean Rotosound? Did you think of trying the Roto77's if you are used to Roto's. Those are the first flats I ever used and I like them, but they were very high tension and nuked my ABG which at the time was all I had, but I did like the smooth monel strings.

What bass are you playing them on?

What music style is your main thing?

I dont think you'll find flats that equal the sound of swing66 in flats version. Maybe the rotosound flats. But thats prob about it as closest. I dont like the feel of flats either. roto swing66 feel better to me to. Great roudwound string sound to. Welcome back to the round world. Is a great one. Lol.

Yeah rotosound. Ive been using the billy sheehan set. What do you guys mean by tension and stuff? I always just bought swing bass or boomers if i couldn't get rotos.

Guess i need the round feel
