Flats for 5-string acoustic

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm currently looking for a set of flats for my Michael Kelly dragonfly 5 string... but theres a problem.

I went into a local music store today, and when i asked for them:
1.) the guy behind the counter looked at me like I was crazy
2.) he looked and told me that no one makes anything like that

Does anyone know where I can find a good set of 5'er flats???

strings

Check out www.juststrings.com for LaBella Deep Talkin' flat wounds(they come in fives) or D'Adario. I like the deep talkin's on my five acoustic. They are clear and loud. Have fun

IMHO, and not knowing your hand strength, I wouldn't go heavier then a .115-.120. I think the .125 will be too too stiff, especially in the tapewounds--which sound AWESOME--forgot to mention that before. A little bit more mellow.
