Flats for Bronco (Short-scale)

Helping my brother out, trying to figure out what kind of flats to get for his Squier Bronco. We plan on installing a dual-rail Strat-sized pickup and a coil-splitting switch, as well as pots and jack.

Just looking for something with average tension and good feel. He has D'addario Chromes on his SX P-bass, likes them just fine. We wanted to put TI's on the Bronco, but their 'short-scale' strings are actually meant for 32" scale basses.

The TIs work fine even though some of the windo goes around the posts. GHS are nice if you want old school. Chromes sound a little more modern. All depends what you like.
