Flats for Drop D?

I just put a set of Tapewounds on my Ibanez and I love them but the tension isn't there to drop tune. I want to put flats on my p-bass, which is in standard tuning 98% of the time, but some stuff I play is in drop D and one in Drop C...and one on B..I know the B would be tough, but really just looking for a nice set of flats that would do well on drop D....thoughts?

My Chromes work great in Drop D, better than a lot of rounds Ive tried.

guess I shoudl say I like the "thump" sound of a bass...hence why the tapewounds-more mellow sound...

those the D'Addario?...what gauge are u using?
