I asked for opinions on which flats to put on my P bass. More than 100 people voiced their opinions and Thomastik-Infelds were the clear (twice as many votes) winner, followed by D'Addario Chromes and LaBellas.
There were lots of informed observations posted in that thread about the relative sounds and tensions of one brand versus another.
