Flats to nickel to SS

In the last year I went from using pretty much just flats, to about 6 months of using nickels. I was really surprised that I liked the round wounds again so much. About a month ago I found myself wanting even more brightness so I got some rotosound66s. Those went dead and I just put on a set of hibeams. It feels blasphemous going for such a bright sound on a p bass, but they feel/sound great to my current ears. Funny how tastes can change. The good thing about a p bass though is it sounds great with all types of strings.
