Flats on a P Bass in C Standard?
Just wondering how flatwound strings would sound on a P bass that was tuned in C standard (C-F-A#-D#)? Will it work, or sounds like a pile of poo? And also if it would work by some miracle, which strings would be best?

Fender 9050 .055-.105 set.

There is more than one way to get there, obviously. But...IMO a B-E-A-D string set, tuned to C standard would work well. Especially a lighter gauge set. (Or singles to your taste)

Yeah, BEAD set is the way to go.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, and probably BEAD tuned to BEAD for when I want to do some 5 strings songs (I don't have a 5 string), then capo the first fret for C standard might work as well for me
