Flats on a Peavey Foundation anyone?

Sign in to disble this ad
i just scored a super clean 1989 Foundation. put some DR Sunbeams on it...wow!!! awesome tone! in love...i considered DR Neons or Roto rounds but the Sunbeams are really nice...good for funk and they rock!

i was wondering if anyone has put flats on a Foundation? i've got TI flats on a P Bass...it rules of course. but, i love the Foundation soooooo much, i think i may want to find another and put some TI flats on it!

anyone have experience with flats on a Foundation?

Just something FYI... Sunbeams are literally Neon's without the coating

Iv'e set up a few... I pulled them off and sent them back to the owner.. Everytime GHS tapes seem to be a better fit (light guage)

The vibe of flats and foundation kind of clash...

Some high quality balanced ground or pressure wounds may be a better fit.
