Flats on a Stingray 4? (3 EQ and new 2 HB version)

Has anyone used flats on their Stingray 4? I just wanted some descriptions of the tone and sound with them. Is it still as versatile with the flats on?

I don't think I've heard any clips/songs of a 'Ray with flats. But I've been wondering the same thing, though. Actually, I was wondering if flats would make the Stingray's tone sound good.
