I have a string-through Sting Precision, and need some flats that are long enough not to have the nylon windings covering the nut. Any suggestions? I think any P-bass with flats would be similar.

I know DR flats are long enough because that what I have on there right now. I have tried GHS brite flats and D'Addario Chromes: one worked, the other was too short, but I can't remember which was which because it's been a couple years. I think the GHS were longer. I tried Fender flats once and they were too short. |

Thanks,
John
